The Fades

The Fades is a supernatural, BBC series that debuted last fall, but for those of us in the states, it’s only just premiered on BBC America. The show, written by Jack Thorne, tells the story of a disturbed, bed-wetting, young man as he struggles to find love and save the world from flesh-eating, Earth-bound spirits, called fades. It sounds like a zero-to-hero plot turned-up to eleven, but the show has a good balance of spooky atmosphere, shocks, and youthful humor.
