The other day Karan came up to me and asked me if I read any of the Gothtopia books. I hadn’t so she explained it to me. At first I was like, “eh do we need this?” But after reading this issue it has my attention. Now I am going to say what everyone is thinking, “Does the Bat-Family really need another crossover?” The answer is no but DC is going to keep pumping them out so we might as well roll with it.

Last issue of Birds of Prey we said goodbye to Katana but that doesn’t mean the end for the Birds of Prey! Some new players are coming to the team and feathers will fly!

First I don’t know if I have been reviewing this arc of Birds of Prey, my writing has been so hit or miss the past month or two(That changes in 2013, if we live) But regardless if I have been keeping up on reviewing it. The comic is great as always and after this issue a lot of change will come to the birds. We know in time Katana will become a member of the Justice League of America but what does that mean for her role in Birds of Prey?

Now some of you might have heard the news about issue #0 before today. Basically a little bit ago DC talked about putting out #0 for all there titles this September to try to fill in some of the gaps of the New 52. Now that its self is fantastic. I know I have a lot of questions and I am sure others who read different titles want answers to. But right now I am more worried about what happens after #0 and the third wave comes along.

Now Birds of Prey is getting a little hard to follow to be honest. It is hard to tell what DC is trying to do with this title. I am hoping their role in Night of Owls helps establish their role in the New 52. The team is a fun and interesting mix but the plot has been going nowhere.
